SURFING IN PUNTA ROCA
At AST La Libertad, the surf quite literally revolves around you. After only a short 30-minute drive from the airport, our driver with immediately land you in the middle of all the action.
Our surf tour guests receive a red-carpet experience complete with private surf guides and exclusive vehicles with access to our many accessible known and secret surf spots – many are only minutes away. While we certainly have the ability to take you exploring, we’re also face-to-face with Punta Roca, El Salvador’s only World-Class wave.
The Punta wraps around a rocky point and is an intermediate to experienced surfer’s hollow dream. If you’re a little less experienced or feel like going for a mellower slide.
La Paz is conveniently is a few short paddles inside, offering a gentler wave fun for any class of surfer. It will be hard to leave our front yard with endless waves steps away. Head high surf is consistent from March to November, and waist – to – shoulder high surf is prevalent in the off - season months. Fun off – season swells are typical though, and conditions can be good to epic mixed in with great weather offshore winds, so keep an eye and track the surf for a last minute getaway.
